Do you have some bananas that are about to go bad? Let's be honest here... We all know you do :)

In just 5 simple ingredients, you have the most amazing cookie

This cookie hits every mark for a ~balanced~ breakfast.

Oats- simple carbohydrate, packed with fiber, rich in antioxidants, & keeps you fuller for longer.

Bananas- full of nutrients & antioxidants.

Protein Powder- one of the easiest sources of protein, aids in muscle growth and exercise recovery.

All Natural Peanut Butter- an excellent source of healthy fats, good protein source, & rich in vitamins/minerals.

Maple Syrup- high in antioxidants.

Optional ingredients-

Baking Powder- no health benefits here, just allows the cookie to rise.

Cinnamon- adds a dimension of flavor.

Chocolate Chips- the star of the show (in my humble opinion. Not only do they taste amaazzzzzinnnng, but there are a handful of health benefits, such as: high in antioxidants, supports functions of your heart, lowers blood pressure, and the list goes on! Remember, everything is good in moderation so make sure you ALWAYS have chocolate in your diet :)

All of the ingredients you need to make this amazing recipe:

  • 2 Ripe Bananas-- the more brown they are, the sweeter the cookie will be!

  • 2 c Old Fashioned Oats

  • 2 scoops of Protein Powder -- I used vanilla

  • ¼ c All Natural Peanut Butter -- the kind with 2 ingredients (peanuts + salt) we want it to be runnnnny!

  • ¼ c Maple Syrup

  • ½ tsp Baking Powder *optional

  • ½ tsp Cinnamon *optional

  • ½ c Dark Chocolate Chips *optional
