Refined sugar free, dairy free, gluten free, AND vegan!

I am the biggest fan of simple and easy recipes. Four ingredients? ABSOLUTELY! SIGN ME UPPPP! Few ingredient recipes are always take minimal time & effort. I already go grocery shopping more than the average 23 year old so this recipe saves me that additional trip.
When is apple season?
Depending on the variety, apples are available from late July through early November. In Ohio (where I am from), it is a little bit shorter due to the colder climate, so it typically runs from August through October.
What is apple pie filling?
Only THE best part of an apple pie (ok, I do love the flaky crust too). It is packed with all of the warm and cozy fall vibes-- cinnamon, nutmeg, and lots of love.
How do I use my apple pie topping?
You can put this with ANYTHING and EVERYTHING and it would be amazing! Personally, I like eating it with vanilla greek yogurt, whipped cream, or ice cream! Then, I add a crunch by using granola or nuts. When I made this recipe, I made it to last a few days and tried every variation and I cannot pick a best way to eat it.
EASY four ingredients:
Apples- Take advantage of apple season! I went to the apple farm and picked SO many apples I just didn't know what to do with all of them. This is the perfect way to use up those apples before they go bad. Personally, honey crisp apples are my absolute favorite so I used this for the recipe, but any baking apple will do.
Coconut Oil- A very simple & natural oil to sautƩ tour apples in. The oil helps the apples get soft & allows this recipe to be vegan!
Maple Syrup- All natural 100% maple syrup is the way to go with this recipe. You don't want to skimp and use low quality ingredients. It is cheapest at Costco.
Cinnamon- The smallest, yet mightiest ingredient! adds a great depth of flavor.
