This fool-proof cheesecake bar makes the perfect dessert for any occasion!

There is a reason that Oreo is milk's favorite cookie. It is a classic that everyone loves.

I am not going to lie, I have always been intimidated by making a cheesecake. There are so many small errors that can lead to a catastrophe. To play it safe, I have always avoided making it. Until, I made single serving no bake cheesecake jars for a family party. This recipe is SO easy to mix and match.

Not crazy for Oreos?!

I won't call you crazy (but you might be). You can substitute for graham crackers, lotus cookies, vanilla Oreos, Chips Ahoy. Really any base works for the cheesecake filling!

Not crazy for the crust?!

If you want to skip the crust all together, this make an excellent dip to bring to a party! Serve with fruit, graham crackers, etc!

This fool-proof recipe requires minimal ingredients (double win):

Oreos- The true star of the show. They are hard not to love! This recipe calls for Oreos as the crust AND Oreo halves for the top (I removed the filling between the two cookies and pressed on just the cookie to the top of the cheesecake).

Melted butter- unsalted melted butter (any brand works).

Heavy Cream- If you are feeling extra lazy, you can swap for whipped cream to save a step.

Cream Cheese- This must be at room temperature

Granulated sugar

Sour Cream-This must be at room temperature

Powdered Sugar- Also known as Confectionary Sugar

Pure Vanilla Extract
