Ladies & Gents, it is PUMPKIN SEASON!!! The basic girl in me is living MY BEST LIFE! I absolutely love pumpkin & nothing beats making a delicious dessert at home. My favorite thing about pumpkin is it makes everything so moist (aka it is basically impossible to overcook). Pumpkin Cookies with Maple Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients

Pumpkin Cookies

• 1 cup room temperature unsalted butter

• 1 cup granulated sugar

• 1 teaspoon baking soda

• 1 teaspoon baking powder

• ½ teaspoon salt

• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

• 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

• 1 egg

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

• 1 cup canned pumpkin

• 2 cups all-purpose flour

Maple Cream Cheese Frosting

• 4 tbsp unsalted butter softened

• 8 oz cream cheese softened

• 2 cups powdered sugar

• 3 tbsp maple syrup
