As the leaves turn golden and the air becomes crisp, it's time to embrace the cozy flavors of fall. Our Pumpkin Crumble Muffins are the perfect treat to usher in the season. Loaded with pumpkin spice, a sweet crumble topping, and optional cinnamon maple icing, these muffins are an autumn delight you won't want to miss.

Ingredients:

For the Pumpkin Muffins:

- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

- 3/4 cup granulated sugar

- 3/4 cup brown sugar

- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 2 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin spice

- 15 oz pumpkin puree

- 1/2 cup vegetable oil

- 2 eggs

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For the Crumble Topping:

- 2 tablespoons melted butter

- 1/3 cup granulated sugar

- 1/3 cup flour

-1 teaspoon pumpkin spice

For the Cinnamon Maple Icing (Optional):

- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

- 2 teaspoons maple syrup

- 1 teaspoon milk

- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Let's Create Fall Magic:

Pumpkin Spice Bliss:

1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 3/4 cups of all-purpose flour, 3/4 cup of granulated sugar, 3/4 cup of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 2 1/2 teaspoons of pumpkin spice. This aromatic blend sets the stage for our muffins.

2. In a separate bowl, whisk together 15 oz of pumpkin puree, 1/2 cup of vegetable oil, 2 eggs, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. The pumpkin puree infuses these muffins with that unmistakable fall flavor.

3. Gently fold the dry mixture into the wet ingredients. Remember, the key is not to overmix; we want our muffins to be tender and moist.

4. Scoop the muffin batter into a lined muffin pan, filling each cup about two-thirds full. The pumpkin aroma in your kitchen is the first sign of something special in the making.

Crumble Topping Extravaganza:

1. For that delightful crumble topping, combine 2 tablespoons of melted butter with 1/3 cup of granulated sugar, 1/3 cup of flour, & 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice. The result is a sweet, buttery crumble that adds a perfect crunch to each muffin.

2. Sprinkle this delectable crumble on top of each muffin, generously. It's the finishing touch that elevates these muffins to fall perfection.

Baking Up Autumn:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and let the aroma of fall envelop your kitchen.

2. Bake the muffins for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. These golden treats are almost ready to enjoy.

Optional Cinnamon Maple Icing:

1. For an extra layer of flavor, whisk together 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, 2 teaspoons of maple syrup, 1 teaspoon of milk, and 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon.

2. Drizzle this cinnamon maple icing over the cooled muffins for a sweet and spicy finish.
